Getting Started with Pocket-Hole Joinery
How It Works
Step 1 — Set the Jig: Adjust the drill guide and depth collar to match your material thickness using the easy-set dial.
Step 2 — Drill: Clamp your workpiece in the jig and drill the angled pocket hole using a Kreg stepped drill bit.
Step 3 — Drive: Align your pieces, clamp them together, and drive a Kreg pocket-hole screw to create a strong, hidden joint.
When to Use Pocket Holes
Face Frames: The most common application — join face-frame members for cabinets with invisible joints on the front face.
Panel Assemblies: Attach tabletops, shelves, and panels to frames without visible fasteners.
