Napoleon Freestyle Questions, Answered
Is the Napoleon Freestyle a good first gas grill?
Yes. Freestyle is Napoleon's entry series, and you still get the real features: JETFIRE™ ignition, porcelainized cast iron WAVE™ grids, an ACCU-PROBE™ lid gauge, and a 10-year warranty. It costs a little more than a throwaway big-box grill and lasts years longer.
What is the difference between the Freestyle 365 and Freestyle 425?
The Freestyle 365 is a three-burner (33,000 BTU, 495 sq. in. total); the Freestyle 425 is a four-burner (38,000 BTU, 571 sq. in. total). Both are available as SB bundles that add an integrated range side burner for sauces and sides.
Where can I buy Napoleon Freestyle grills in Southwest Florida?
Family Hardware is Southwest Florida's authorized Napoleon dealer with stores in Cape Coral (622 SE 47th Terrace, 239-542-6365) and Fort Myers (13101 McGregor Blvd, 239-933-1744). Every Freestyle model can be ordered online at familyhardware.com.
Do you deliver Napoleon Freestyle grills to Naples, FL?
Yes. Order online and we deliver Napoleon grills across Southwest Florida: Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Punta Gorda. We also ship nationwide.
What is the Freestyle 24-inch griddle?
A compact flat-top cart with a 3.5 mm pre-seasoned steel cooktop, three burners (25,200 BTU), a LIFT EASE™ dual-pivot lid, and front-access grease management. It arrives pre-seasoned and non-stick, and you can cook on it with metal tools. Available in propane and natural gas.
How do Napoleon grills hold up to salt air in Cape Coral and Fort Myers?
Napoleon builds its grills with stainless steel, which handles coastal humidity better than painted steel, but no grill is immune to salt air. Along the Caloosahatchee, the Gulf and the canals of Lee County, rinse the exterior with fresh water and wipe it with a soft cloth every few weeks, keep a fitted cover on the grill when it is not in use, and clean grease and ash out of the firebox. That routine keeps surface rust and tarnish from taking hold. Battery-free JETFIRE™ ignition also keeps lighting reliably in humid air.
Is assembly and delivery included when I buy a Napoleon grill in Southwest Florida?
Yes. Napoleon grills from Family Hardware include free assembly and delivery in Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral, Fort Myers and the rest of Lee County, and free shipping to the continental U.S. Outdoor kitchen cabinets, built-in installation and other accessories can be handled differently, so call us to confirm delivery details: Cape Coral 239-542-6365, Fort Myers 239-933-1744.
Should I buy natural gas or propane in Lee County?
Natural gas is only an option where gas service reaches your address and a gas line can be run to the grill location, and not every neighborhood in Cape Coral, Fort Myers or Lee County has it. Propane works anywhere: a tank under the grill (or a slide-out tank kit in an outdoor kitchen) and you are cooking, and you can swap or refill cylinders at our stores. Most Napoleon models are sold in both versions as separate SKUs, so pick the fuel before you order. If you are not sure what your home has, call either store before you buy.
How should I protect my Napoleon grill during hurricane season?
Before a storm, turn off the gas at the tank or valve, disconnect propane cylinders and store them upright outdoors in a ventilated spot, never in a garage or indoors. Move freestanding carts to a sheltered area or secure them so they cannot become projectiles, and remove or tie down the cover. Built-in grills in an outdoor kitchen should be covered and shut off at the gas valve. After the storm, check hoses and burners for debris, insects and water before you light the grill. Our Southwest Florida hurricane checklist is at familyhardware.com/hurricane-prep.
